Well apart from seeing all these lovely snowdrop people I found the lady who has Galanthus 'Fanny' named for her, and that was almost enough!  It was a great pity someone forgot all about it and that the Curtis family were absent...hope you are all recovered now.  A good venue as it was only three miles from the A14 yet in the middle of the countryside and a chance to pick up some plants from Edrom et al.

I managed to buy Moya's Green and Moreton Mill, so went home a happy bunny. The purse couldn't quite stretch to the £195 bid for Mother Goose.
A perfect way to spend an afternoon, lovely weather, good company and plenty of cake, you would have enjoyed it Maggi!

Yes, free cake and drink in fact.  Worth the visit for that alone!
Almost in Scotland.

Note particularly for ChasW -  it's tomorrow, Chas, are you remembering?

Sunday August 23rd 2015   2pm

"27th Annual Bulb Sale. At Peppers Farm, Forry’s Green, Sible Hedingham, near Halsted, Essex CO9 3RP in the garden of Pam Turtle.

Thank you Pam for having us back again-it is much appreciated

The bulb sale is an enjoyable social event as well as an opportunity to purchase bulbs not readily available elsewhere. This event keeps the Mid-Anglia group afloat and allows us to invite speakers from far and wide, as you can see from 2015 programme.

Please come along and bring bulbs to sell (50/50) if you have a few to spare.

Friends and family welcome.

There is plenty of parking and free refreshments.

The guest nursery this year will be "Wildside" from Devon - Keith and Ros Wiley."
Margaret Young in Aberdeen, North East Scotland Zone 7 -ish!
