 With me just starting to bloom Iris narbutii. At the bloom of the other Junos I have to wait quite a while.
A very fine looking narbuti, much better than mine!

Iris kuschakewiczii ......

Great-looking Juno Kris! I don't think my plant is going to flower this year.

what a collection of fabulous , beautiful and legendary Junos in the last few weeks , also superb photography  , thank you all.
    unfortunately these are not grown in Australia .

Iris fosteriana at its peak now with 9 open flowers.  Unfortunately I will be in Dunblane only in the morning tomorrow so will not be able to take plants to the show.

Thanks all.  Maggi, it must be a very long time since I wrote this piece for the SRGC website but it is the same plant of Iris fosteriana that is featured.  I got it from Norman Stevens in 1995.

Pat, despite growing it for so long, I don't remember ever pollinating it, not sure why because I have pollinated some other junos.  Now that you mention it, I must give it a try.  If successful, will send you some seeds (if you wish) as it will be thanks to you.
