A couple of rubbish photos from today.

elwesii 'Haydn' with a turned back spathe. Both flowers in a pot in the plunge have the same shaped spathe.
snogerupii with a marking that looks too small. All three flowers are the same

Hello Mark, the green tipped is not named (as I know) - first picture show it again. Then 'Smaragdsplitter' and 'Sheds and Outhouses'.
Last picture shows a group of other Galanthus elwesii monostictus growing next to Stipa gigantea and a few selfsown Oncocyclusiris.
All Galanthus flower this year about one month later than normal because of the warm and dry autumn.

Well Hans , I think they are all good to have flowering at this time of the year.  My ( new) 'Smaragdsplitter' is without green on the outers this year, so I look forward to next Autumn when I hope it will have settled down.

I suspect that plants similar to this (gem1.2-Smaragdsplitter.jpg) can be periclinal chimeras. You tried to do chips of the such?

This weekend I found this great snowdrop from Ru flowering, Emerald Bells  ;D. A real beauty !!!!!!

It's a fantastic snowdrop but more of an inverse poculiform than a conventional virescent type.

Yes, here two genes of "inverse poculiform" and a gene (genes) "completely green internal petal" very successfully work.
