That is good news Maggi. These little ones seem to take everything in their stride it always amazes me. Its good that Christina is getting the rest of her treatment in Aberdeen this will make it much easier for the family. What a worry this must have been to all the family you included. Hopefully soon she will be back to her normal self and can enjoy the rest of her childhood.

I'm happy for you too, John - I'd be a little jealous, if I didn't have a box of yummy chocs from Moscow sitting beside me!  8)

Huh! I could have done all that too- if I hadn't been so busy with the chocolates...... not so good at multi-tasking as I once was!

Today was Fun Day at Linlithgow Union Canal Society.  Main event was the cardboard boat race across the canal basin.  No waterproofing is allowed only adhesive tape/string to hold the sections together.  My son's team in their boat 'Cygnus maximus' won 1st for the fastest team round the course without sinking.  Fewer than half of the 20 boats managed to complete before sinking!

Some of the other entries.  At the turning point a plastic duck has to be rescued from the jaws of the crocodile which can be seen in the first pic.

One last one called 'Elvis'.  There were also prizes for the most elegant sinking, the most innovative design etc.

Hi Brian,
Is it snowdrops you have in the lattice pots?  I'm always digging mine up by accident!

Yes Margaret, surprisingly it is ;D  Each has a layer of grit below the surface so that you can't accidentally dig into them!
