Fritillaria seed

I have several forms of Fritillaria seed sitting in the fridge, but am not sure how to sow them - help!

Hello chris,

I do also grow fritillaria Persica from seed and i put them on some peat and cover them with a little bit of sand ,not fine sand, and just keep them a little wet and the sun will do the rest.

Having successfully germinated my fritiallaria seeds, what is the next step?

At present they are sitting in my cold frame & I am keeping the soil moist.

Do I have to repot at some stage, or do I just leave them in their existing pots?

Chris, as the Prime Minister, and even the Scottish First Minister, says, "I refer you to my previous answer" !! All this stuff is in the Bulb Log, that's why it is the Bulb Log!!

The Bulb Log is not searchable, I'm afraid.  Typing what you want  into Google is a good way, the Log comes up very high on most searches. Using time of year to narrow down options is another way....look at it this way, no pain, no gain!

Or even better, go to the bulb log itself and replay a few logs from this same time of year. By going back to logs of quite a while ago, you relearn much of what you'd already forgotten and also find significance in items which at the time maybe didn't mean much due to not having grown something or perhaps a new interest having developed in the meantime. Forget the old saying "you can never go back!"
