Anyone want to hazard a guess?

I think this is some kind of cerastium.  Found on July 14 in Tirol Alps at 2369 m. altitude.

If it was on calcareous or dolomitic substrate it could be Cerastium latifolium (Broad-leaved Mouse-ear Chickweed) or if on silicaceous rocks C. uniflorum (Glacier Mouse-ear Chickweed)?

Hi Anthony,

I was at a loss to reply but realized that Doronicum grandiflorum was growing nearby which I understand is calcareous soil lover.  In some of the pictures and descriptions I see of Cerastium latifolium it seems to have broader leaves than the one I photographed.
