I think the highest paid for Ecusson d'or was from memory £236.

Emma / Martin - I think Emma is dead on, the figure of £236 is exactly what I recall.

1 hour and forty minutes to go about 12km this afternoon.  The first skid of snow and the cars were making ice as they travelled through it, many rear end collisions, jack-knifed 18 wheelers and pile-ups.  100kms took 2hr 50 minutes. Hoy, did you take back your gift? ;)

Fine Snowdrop Gerard!
Seems we have a better/warmer weather than most parts of europe. Temperatures go down near 0ºC.
Here a named and some unnamed G.elwesii in flower.

Not fair, not fair at all. I'm just after coming in and my poor fingers are freezing.

Have a good time.

And a traditional two-fingered Christmas salute from me to you, John. Only kidding. Have a great, and pleasantly warm and sunny, time. Bet you'll miss the sprouts though.

OK, John, we've been looking, examining and guessing. Is the photograph from the Botanic Gardens?
