Quite right John, and they are well worn from use, this poor old soul has to say it was very comfortable - more so than the log with chairbacks.

I have no idea how long it  has taken the tree to "eat" the bench - quite a long time, I would think!

Depending on how hungry the tree might be?
Obviously moving the bench was a job that was put off for too long!

Seen on social media from  Jimi Blake at   Hunting Brook Gardens, Co. Wicklow Ireland ..... another  garden bench that hasn't had anyone sitting relaxing on it for quite a while!
