Seeds arrived in today's mail. Many thanks to all the volunteers and donors that make this exchange possible. I am wondering if the person who kindly donated seeds of Paeonia rockii 'Gansu Mudan Group' could contact me. I would like to learn more about the parent plants if possible. Thanks again!

Catwheazle,
Our EU and Australian seed has NOT yet left Scotland.  It is being inspected for a phytosanitary certificate in Edinburgh.  We hope to mail out within 2 weeks.

Hello everyone, here is the latest update on seed, including dates of mailing and receipt:

UK - mailed out 14 January (Main & Surplus), and should all have been received by members.

Rest of world - (including Canada, Norway, Russia, New Zealand) some seed was sent 14-16 January, and has arrived with members, rest was sent around 1 February.

USA and Rest of World - eventually mailed out 1 February (despite any earlier date franked on the envelope!) because mail was not accepted by UK Royal Mail due to a cyber-incident.  USDA APHIS inspections on arrival in the USA will delay their delivery to members as usual.  None have yet arrived with members.

EU, Australia, and Ireland (both north and south) - seeds will shortly have a phytosanitary certificate, we hope to mail out within the next 2 weeks.

A note for our USA members - I have just heard of the first arrival of seed in the USA.  However, some packets were removed by USDA APHIS and destroyed as "Foreign material found".  We are proud of the quality of our seed, and do not think there was any significant quantity of chaff included.  It would be really useful if USA members email me seed(at)srgc.net to advise of arrivals of your seed this year.  Please report to me any problems with destruction of packets, with the packet name/number(s) and we shall investigate.  I am hoping that it is one over-zealous inspector!

A note for our EU menbers - your seed has now left the UK. It is en-route to the EU where it has a stopover, and will be sent to you within the next 2 weeks.

Lastly - do not forget our second 90th Anniversary Zoom talk at 7pm(GMT) tomorrow tonight.  Details are here: https://www.srgc.net/add-90th-talks.asp.
