This looks like a Galanthus elwesii with very funny marks. Should it be a named variety or do You just want to know which kind of species it is?

I really want to know what this is. In fact, I want to know what this next one is as well

I don't quite know how to use this site. Thank you, Mariette. It could be a very young SnowFox. No idea. How about this one please?

My first one of the Season Galanthus 'Godfrey Owen'. Sorry about the picture, trying to get used to both a new camera and a new laptop (it will be slow process on both counts!!)

'Fred's Giant' has been with me for three years.. So it should be established/settled by now. The biggest of them in this photo is only doing a petal length of 32mm. ( These flowers will stretch a little as they age, last year one got to 41mm. ).. SO... Either:

A) My plant isn't actually Fred's Giant.
B) Fred's Giant isn't actually a giant.

Any thoughts?

I have measured 'Fred's Giant' in the past but have no idea where I wrote it down.  I don't think any flowers got as big as some of the other giants you have measured.  It was named in the late seventies and was the largest snowdrop in the Cruickshank garden.  In those days most named snowdrops were in the hands of the elite galanthophiles and not readily available so there were no other large elwesiis to compare it to.  I do remember a very similar snowdrop in the garden but it set seed whereas 'Fred's Giant' never does.  The clump in my garden looks as if the flowers are not going to be very big this year and the surviving clump at the edge of the wood will flower later.  It was moved when the track was widened for timber extraction and I do not know how deep it is buried.

Always a particular pleasure to post Scottish drops on this forum, part of my from Ian Christie collection, that seem to be enjoying the Tropics of East Anglia! All vigorous and increase well.

First up, Golden Promise, a superb yellow.

Next Brechin Ian, named after the 'other Ian' at Brechin Castle
656507-1

Next Brechin Tower,

Next Lady Alice

Finally, like my visit to Scotland, it would not be complete without G. Margaret Young! Looking  purposeful and pristine!  ;D ;D ;D

Crikey Ingrid - you  are  rubbing  our  noses  in it  with these  - mere shoots  through the  soil for  most  of  these  in (temporarily) sunny  Aberdeen!   Such fun to see  them - and  "me" too!

Do You have experience ordering from Switzerland? In former years it was far more difficult than ordering from UK.

Here´s a more poculiform Anglesey Abbey, after all: ´Loose Spirit´:
