Snowdrop Day

Thursday 20 February, 10am – 2.30pm

Fullers Mill is opening for a special snowdrop day to share it’s stunning collection. Snowdrop expert Rod Leeds will be in the garden all day to answer any snowdrop questions visitors may have.

Rod has grown snowdrops for many years in a Suffolk garden and has built up a wealth of knowledge. He is a member of the RHS Joint Rock Plant Committee that recently assessed snowdrops for Awards of Garden Merit (AGM).

Hedgehog Plant Nursery will be selling winter flowering shrubs and bulbs and we will also have our own home grown plants available to purchase.

Tea, coffee and delicious cakes will be available to buy in the Bothy Tearoom. No need to book in advance, just pay on the day. Head Gardener Annie Dellbridge and her team look forward to seeing you there!

£5.00 admission. Children under 16 free. Friends of Fullers Mill Free entry

Q & A session at the Shaftesbury event last Saturday (8th Feb).   Left to Right we have John Grimshaw, Aaron Davis and Matt Bishop.  This was a very rare opportunity to hear then all together.

Almost in Scotland.

We are all very sorry to have to announce that our Snowdrop event at Primrose Bank Nursery near York this weekend has been cancelled. Much of the nursery and the parking field is under standing water, and with more rain and storms forecast for Saturday and Sunday, there was no option but to cancel.
We are sorry for the disappointment this may cause to our visitors.
Sue will have a mini-opening the next weekend, but unfortunately Dryad Nursery will not be able to attend, as we have another function.
Please would you pass the word around to anyone who was planning to come. Thank you.
MINIONS! I need more minions!

That's a  shame  Anne -  hope there  is  still a  good  attendance  next weekend  and  the  money  raised  for the  charity  is  substantial.

Oh that is disappointing as I had thought this would be the first time that I would be able to attend.  But this is February after all, so the chances of an event being cancelled due to bad weather are quite high.
Almost in Scotland.
