Autumn Events at Branklyn Gardens, Perth

Special Gentian Weekends at NTS Branklyn Garden will run from tomorrow 16th September for the coming 3 weekends. Come and enjoy a conducted tour of the garden taking in the autumn-flowering Gentians, fine stands of Hydrangeas, Roscoea, Colchicum, Cyclamen, together with autumn colour from Maples, Cercidiphyllum and Disanthus. The Tea Room offers Teas and Coffee with freshly made scones and seasonal cakes and a view over the garden. NTS members go free whilst non-members pay £6.50 and £5.00 concessions. Free Car Parking above the garden in Fairmount Terrrace. Plenty of Gentians for sale including the first offering of Ian McNaughton's G. 'Troon'! Pictures depict Branklyn Tea Room, Gentiana ''Braemar', G. ''The Caley' and Roscoea Royal Purple Group.

Just love Branklyn gardens. Never visited the garden this time of year , might just need to pop down.

I've seen wonderful pictures over FB from the Branklyn, I can only imagine what a treat would be to walk around the gardens when the autumn Gentians are in bloom!
