Hello Lars,
I'm in the middle of potting mine right now - but then, I don't live in Ultima Thule....
I keep my bulbs in a frostfree shed - perfect in a normal winter - but temperatures out here have been between +10 and +13°C over the last few weeks and the early varieties are clearing showing rapid development of the flower bud. (Eiger, Hekla Locking Stumps, Asama, Forrestii just to name a few)
The bulbs may very well also have been exposed to somewhat higher temperatures where they come from and during transport, but if you now keep them in the dark (which shouldn't be very difficult for you...
) and cool, you can drastically slow down the further development of the buds and wait with potting until mid February or even a little later. Just keep an eye on them every once in a while to prevent surprises.
Good luck - and don't forget to show us some pix when the time comes.
