Many thanks, Cliff and Stan for posting pictures for those of us who could not be there.

Cliff -  Wonderful image of 'Old Rose'  but my favourite must be the Junellia sp.  -  like an octopus made out of pipe cleaners

I keep looking for cypripediums being exhibited at the shows. In times past I would see several examples at at least two, if not three of the shows. Is this the only one this year?

As usual I am late with my posts re the show, it really is good to see so many pictures as they all combine to give a feel of the show. I say show but what readers may not have realised is that there was actually three shows on at the same time, there was the Cyril Lafong show, there was the Sue Simpson show and there was the supporting cast show which can be further subdivided into Scots and English components as again there was good support from South of the Border (next year they might need passports?)
So the Cyril Lafong Show first
Cypripedium 'Ursel' Forrest Medal and FCC as well
Ramonda nathaliae, best small pan...had nice larger than average flowers ?
Cypripedium 'Paul'
Daphne calcicola 'Napa Hai' Cert of Merit
Lewisia tweedyi Lemon...picture washes the yellow out a bit but use some imagination

More from CXyril Lafong
Saxifraga pubescens 'Snowcap'       C.C.
Corydalis rupestris

Now for the Sue Simpson Show...she and her fellow members from the West are coming here on Wednesday, I will get much criticism no doubt from such a coach load of experts, they are also going to Ian and Helen Kidmans as well plus a nursery so are having an early start, hope the weather is good
Lewisia tweedyi 'alba'
Myosotis glabrescens .... there were quite a few on display at the show
Androsace 'Chris Chadwell'...I would assume grown from seed
