Another five.

1.  Richard Webb writing, Ann Borrill in front of him, Brian Ellis in cap peaking over top
2.  From left: Brian Ellis, Lionel Ponder, Richard Webb and on the end of the line Margaret and David MacLennan
3.  Richard Webb, Margaret and David MacLennan
4.  David Way
5.  Anka Way and Ann Borrill

If you are nosey enough to want to know what Richard is writing it is a phone number (obliterated in this copy), 'corkscrew' and 'Doncaster double'.

The anti chicken wire needs to go, or preferably the chickens.... Think I will just have to stop mulching.

Last photo is great, really shows the puckered outers of Diggory.

The last few.

1.  A lovely big clump of G Mighty Atom
2.  Vase with snowdrops
3.  Entering the moat.  from left:  Jane Ann Walton (in boots), Brian Ellis, Richard Hobbs and Ann Borill bringing up the rear.
4.  Richard Hobbs and Brian Ellis still talking snowdrops in the moat
5.  Anka Way

That's it!

I'm so far here in Germany, far from the galanthophile, far from the galanthus.
David, thank you for the pics of persons. All other threads show flowers enough.

I don't do flattering.  My camera never lies.

And it doesn't take selfies either, does it David?

David, what fantastic photos - I almost felt I was there in those familiar surroundings with familiar faces.  I have really missed seeing everyone this year and would have loved to have met you too.  Have also missed collecting a few new and exciting snowdrops and just the look of those stands made my heart beat faster ;)  I usually love this time of year getting together with new friends I have made through this forum - hopefully next year.

Richard the garden looks wonderful and very well cared for - you must have been working very hard.  How nice that your dad sparked your interest in snowdrops - he would have been very proud to see you holding the CGS Snowdrop day.  My dad never collected them but really enjoyed them.....and most of the time paid for them too!  I remember we were both at Washfield Nursery in Kent about 18 years ago and were dumbstruck by the beautiful clumps of Magnet (it was quite rare in those days) growing under deciduous trees with swathes of Hellebores in full bloom.  I loved that nursery and still find the odd label in the garden here and there.

Thanks for all the photos.....where's John (kentgardener)?

Thanks Jenny, I'm actually still very behind due to a combination of being single handed since June & the endless rain, on the plus side several people have asked about volunteer work recently & my part time help is on the mend and should be back soon.

Have a few plants here from washfields, one of my dads favourite nurseries!

4.  Looking at specials - Ann Borril to left (red coat), Richard Webb (red coat) and Jo Hynes (red legs) others unknown

Forumist 'jamouatt' is in the centre of the picture in the brightly-coloured coat.
Almost in Scotland.

Good to see you on the forum Jenny and pleased you enjoyed the photos. Hopefully we shall see you before long.  Was a bit of a marathon getting them all ready but hopefully they reflect the day and the good weather helped.

Oh no.  I don't do self promotion either and aren't they rather unfashionable now.

Just thinking that to those on the forum who have not had the pleasure of meeting you in person, David, what you look like may be a mystery.  We never see the face behind the camera.

I can't say, as far as I know, there have any demands for my picture.  You are perfectly free to take one next time you have a camera with you.

You are very welcome.  I think I may have taken rather too many and it would have been nice to see some alternative views from other people but they must have had their minds on other things!
