Sad death of Mrs Pat Watson, Ayrshire.
« on: June 20, 2025, 06:07:52 PM »
We have just heard of the sad death of Pat Watson last week. Our deepest sympathies go to her family and friends.

Pat was a lifelong member of SRGC and a founder member of the ARGC as well as being very involved in Plant Heritage.
She and her late husband Jim had an extremely beautiful and well laid out garden, full of expertly grown and unusual plants. She was extremely generous with cuttings etc and plants she had propagated were the mainstay of many plant sales.
She was also generous in opening her garden and providing legendary hospitality, many causes benefitted greatly from her charitable enterprises.
She will be greatly missed.

Pat’s funeral has been arranged for Wednesday 25th June at 2.15 in St Columba’s Church, Midton Road, Ayr, KA7 2SE. All friends are invited - please note that parking may be very restricted.
