Wonderful talk by Ian Young to West Cheshire & Wirral AGS Group on Friday. Hope Ian thought the long journey worth it.  Over 80 members attended.  It's not so long ago that I thought an Erythronium was a brass band instrument - now I know better  !!!!!! - what a great plant, highlighted by an enthusiaastic expert.

It snowed here on Friday, then I got sunburned Saturday digging a new flower bed. Don't you just love this weather !!!

I'll give it four weeks Maggi, then I'll be bemoaning the fact that it's too hot in Kentucky for a  Mancunian. Happens every year till November comes. Love Kentucky.... but would kill for a Holland's Meat Pie...or two....or three.
