Introduction

I'd like to introduce myself as a new member to the SRGC forum.

I've only just found this site and I don't know why!

I'm an amateur orchid grower who has a small collection of Pleione. I've been growing them for a few years with some success- if I do say so myself. I have however found the autumn flowering Pln's a bit more tricky. I guess I'll be asking advice for them again at some point if I give them another go.....

I also grow cool/ intermediate orchids of all shapes and sizes. I look forward to some interesting discussions about Pleione.

Hi Kevin,

welcome and nice to have you joining us.

Autumn flowering pleiones are just as easy as the 'normal' ones, they just need it a little bit warmer. I grow mine at a minimum temperature of +5°C, they seem to like it.
