unknown autum flowering Crocus please help to idetify
« on: October 11, 2025, 02:37:08 PM »
Hi,
today, 11.10. 2025 some autum flowering Crocus start to flower.
I'm trying to determine whether it's C. ligusticus, as I bought it, or, as someone on Facebook told me,
definitely C. speciosus.
I've read Ruksan's book, but I can't tell the difference based on the flowers alone.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you!
Bernd

IŽd say it really looks like Crocus speciosus. Crocus ligusticus has flowers which differ from Yours, not at least regarding the colour, which is more lilac-mauve or purple.
