Moraea elegans - what does the seed look like?
« on: December 22, 2018, 11:45:02 AM »
I'm just sowing my AGS seed. I got M.lurida and M.elegans.

The M.lurida seed are little round balls - I seem to remember the other Moraea seed I've had looks the same.

However the seed labelled M.elegans are big, black, flat and shiny. Very like Habranthus texansis. Anyone know what M.elegans seed looks like?

Hi Mark,
you have got to get rid of that lump of Transsubstantium!
It has transformed the Moraea elegans seed into Habranthus tubispathus seed!
cheers

sigh, I thought so. Still at least I won't get too excited when it germinates.
