iris? ID

Does anybody know what it is?
I bought it in 2012 in Amsterdam. Label said it was dwarf iris. It was September or October and I planted it as soon as I came back. Next spring I honestly expected to see flowers but they never appeared. I don't really remember if I saw any  leaves that year. I presume there was no growth either, since I dug there for to see what happened and found one dead rhizome. So, I decided everything died in winter and forgot about it. This year I finally have found time for to start renovation of what I call my alpine garden. And found these rhizomes. Their leaves look absolutely like iris reticulata ones. I also remember that the leaves come up in November-December, grow full lenght and overwinter like that.
I'll appreciate also growing tips. How to force it to blossom?

Perhaps Iris tuberosa (syn. Hermodactylus tuberosus)?
The tubers/rhizomes look healthy so the plants are presumably fairly happy under your conditions.  Maybe try giving some potassium to encourage flowering?

Yes, the Hermodactylus though I believe it is now back in Iris (Oh those botanists and taxonomists!). As for tips, many people grow and flower it well while I've never yet had a bloom except for 3 I BOUGHT IN bloom once. It should like it warm and sunny but go with the potassium. I'll do that myself.

Thank you both for your help! I will try potassium and plant a part of them in a pot - for to enjoy their scent as the Internet advises. The rest will go back to the alpine bed.

A welcome from me too. How rude of me that I didn't do that first.
I suppose because mine doesn't flower (why do I keep on with it?) I didn't realize that the flowers are fragrant. That's always a bonus for me.
