I'm just back from the Vercors mountains and had as usual nice moments there.
May is always a good period for...orchids of course.

I think I already said it but it's worth repeating, how rich are these mountains in orchids species! And of course other plants besides them   :)
The pretty white Helianthemum must be a subsp. of nummularium? or another sp. (H. nummularium is invariably yellow flowered - there are by thousands in the Carpaths).

Gabriela this is a white cream form, not so common. I only know two places where it grows happily under cliffs.
