The Old Homestead!?
« on: November 14, 2014, 07:12:43 PM »
Thought you might like a few pictures of the Estate.

The old Homestead: Wonder if I locked the door before I left? Never mind the servants will see to it.
First stop: to check the sheep in the top field.
Then to cast a proprietorial look at the staff around the Estate and check some Autumn colour.

David, seems you still have some space left to put a few plants in the ground - and room for visitors too ;D

Giles would have known where it was. It was Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds near to Morton-in-Marsh. It's the sort of place I always thought I should have been born in!

I already was wondering why you didn't send me your new postal address??  :-X :)
Luit van Delft, right in the heart of the beautiful flowerbulb district, Noordwijkerhout, Holland.

Sadly Luit died on 14th October 2016 - happily we can still enjoy his posts to the Forum
