3-4 years with no problems. I still see labels around which have been exposed to the elements for that length of time since I first used the idea to label my potatoes in pots. It is very handy for doing labels for plants for sale. It is easy to mass produce them. I divide the word page in to 3/4 columns depending on the plant. I do one and then just copy it. The photos can either be on that page or on another depending on how many I need. The printed pages are stripped both ways, then inserted into a laminating sheet with the info and photos, back to back. The sheet is then laminated and stripped both ways again. You will know what you are going to do with them and can make allowances when placing them on the laminating sheets so that you end up with a suitable size label. I had a laminator but they are not expensive to buy. You could use business card size laminating sheets but I just use the A4 size. They are the most easily obtained where I live. There are several sizes of laminating sheets. I buy the cheapest ones I can find at the likes of Lidl.
