Some shots from Mercantour National Park August 2013

Hi folks,

Here are a some shots from a hike in the Marcantour National Park in France.

1 Madone de Fenestre 
2 A few specimen of Rhodoendron ferrugineum was still in flower
3 Primula margiata
4 Trifolium alpinum
5 Viola yellowensis  ;D (sp.?)

6 It's great nature up there
7 Silene acaulis on vertical cliff
8 The Dragon of the mountain
9 A cute treasure. Viola nummularia (syn. V. argenteria), I'm not sure what is correct name for this endemic.
10 ....and somewhere up the is Lac Autier

11 Lac Autier
12 This little fellow is quite hard to spot in these huge mountains - Draba dubia
13 A nice crack including: Prim. marginata, Rhod. ferrugineum, Saxifraga retusa and Saxifraga florulenta
14 A groupe of Saxifraga florulenta
15 Saxifraga florulenta close up....is this the ultimate rosette?

I think your Androsace vandellii is a Draba.

I think your Androsace vandellii is a Draba. 

Thanks for your reply Franz. You are correct, I uploaded the picture of what I beleive is Draba dubia  :-[ I will look for the pics of what should be Androsace vandellii.
