Visit to Liguria in June

Rudi, I have just come across you wonderful Ligurian thread and enjoyed your photos of such a variety of alpine flowers from the region.

The biggest surprise for me was this  Daphne mezereum; flowering near the melting
snow at about 2100 m, the entire plant was just about 30 cm in height

Can you tell me which area you were in as we visit Liguria from Switzerland and I would like to see some of these Italian alpines, you see you have hooked me!
