Epimedium grandiflorum(?) 'Kusudama'
« on: February 04, 2012, 07:39:20 PM »
Anyone ever heard about an Epimedium (grandiflorum) 'Kusudama'. Or even better, maybe someone has a picture of this form?
A friend of mine has this Epi in her nursery, but she forgot to take pictures last year.

The only pic I could find of this cultivar was here: http://www.bluetendatenbank.de/web/Epimedium-,1,100,2546.html

Thanks, Bjørnar, I didn't know you could read and write Japanese (or do you have a very good translation program?)

Bjørnar, you did a great job! Even though I searched in Japanese (using kanji, hiragana, katakana), all I could find was the one site you already have found. It seems like the plant is a very rare or uncommon one... Wim, how you find such a rare one?

Peppa,

the nursery-owner who grows it, received it from a friend. I'll have to ask her if she knows anything more about it. I'll keep you posted!
