G'day Otto, Paul, Marion and Marcus,
A while back in 2011 I wrote to you seeking your assistance in
gathering information about galanthus grown in Australia, Australian
raised hybrids and pictures of these. The author, Freda Cox, in the UK
is now wanting our input.
Essentially what she wants is an Australian/ NZ perspective - and one
from Japan too, if you know any 'snowies' there. A list of what you
grow with Australian (or NZ) varieties noted would be great plus any
digital or scanned images of the same.
Given the number of 'international' gardening books, dictionaries and
encyclopaedias that are published every year with no mention whatever
of Australia or NZ, or Japan, this is a terrific opportunity to show 'them'
that we exist and grow good things well.
cheers
