Alpines from Romania
« on: July 23, 2010, 07:54:49 AM »
Hi everybody !

As promised, some alpines from here - the Retezat (Mountains) National Park, Southern Carpathians, 2500 m max. altitude.
They are, in my opinion:

Campanula cervicaria
Hypericum maculatum
Phyteuma vagneri
Gentiana acaulis
Geum montanum
Homogyne alpina
Campanula alpina
Doronicum columnae
Gentiana punctata
Rhododendron myrtifolium

Greetings everybody,

Mike

PS. These are known ones. Some unknown / unsure ones will follow.  ;)

Is this section very rigorous ?...

You can post them here, Mikey. I will merge all your Romanian plant pix in th a single topic.

Please put the names of the plants, where you know them, in the text of  each post.
You can go back to a post to add the names by clicking on the "modify" button at each post.

Cheers, 8)

Thanx Malcolm, the families are OK, I guess, but I'd like the complete name, if possible.
