possible Gentianaceae from Sichuan ?

Hi, Folks, I've been sent these photos by friends, can anyone help with an ID?
The photos of this herbaceous plant, which looks to be gentianaceae,  were taken in September in Sichuan  at around 3930m.
Any ideas?

Friends have had a message from another chum... he thinks its the Megacodon, too.  :)

Leaves look like those from Gentiana lutea but not the way seedpods are arranged ( solitary here).
Yes, this could well be megacodon stylophorus, such a beautiful plant!

NE-France,Haut-Chitelet alpine garden,1200 m.asl
Rather cool/wet summer,reliable 4/5 months winter snow cover
Annual precip:200/250cm,3.5°C mean annual temp.
