Bulbocodium from seed to flower timeframes

Hi
I am sure this has been discussed many times but as I am new I will ask again. How long does it take the hoop petticoats to go from seed to flowering bulb. I have read 2 years but have never had this confirmed, is it more like 3 years or does it depend on species/hybrid etc?
Does the smaller nivalis take less time than say conspicuis (sorry if spelling is incorrect)
I am aware the larger Narcissus can take 7 years but if someone can give me a rough indication on this topic I would greatly appreciate it.

Lets say 2 and a half, assuming seed is sown when it is ripe (summer, then a couiple of years to germinate, grow and flower. N. bulb. citrinus, triandrus and a few others take that long, others longer (for me.)

Since my last post and e-mail to yourself I have had a few more seeds germinate and sprout, a few bulbicodium and a tete tete. Have about 5 crocus seeds up.
Still no Wee Gem seedling ups yet, but will give them time as the bulbs have not started to emerge from the ground yet either.
My Cantabricus foliosus are about to flower, will take a pic or two and post them.

Just in case anyone tries searching for this topic in the future.... it is Narcissus bulbocodium, not bulbicidium (although you are by no means alone with making that mistake by the look of google!).  I mention this here so that this topic will appear if anyone uses the search function on that name.
