Corydalis rutifolia ssp erdelii?
« on: February 19, 2009, 10:02:50 AM »
The balckbirds kindly removed the plant label for this corydalis, I think it's Corydalis rutifolia ssp erdelii, anyone have a different take?
Second picture - guess where the tuber is  ;D
Hristo passed away, after a long illness, on 11th November 2018. His support of SRGC was  much appreciated.

What a marvellous plant! I once had C. rutifolia (not the ssp) from the first Watson collection, ACW, in Turkey, 1966. Eventually lost though. I think I had it as rutaefolia. :-\

So we have at least another man in Bulgaria? Great. :D

Wow, glorious colour.  Love that leaf rosette.  I wish that was in MY garden.  ;) ;D
Cheers.

In the spirit of learning and for the interest of anyone looking at my postings of corydalis, I think I am correcting errors
( Hope I am not simply making new ones! )
My first posting somewhere on this site of erdelii was infact a hybrid between popovii and maracandica, my next posting of oppositifolia was I think erdelii, the postings of schanganinii ssp schanganinii, popovii and maracandica are ok ( fingers very crossed! )
So the hybrid I have been waiting for as per my last post was infact the first corydalis to flower and the first I posted!
Confused? My heads spinning!
The picture attached might show my thinking, I hope!
