I take it no-one has come across an autumn squill with leaves more than 1cm wide?

Anthony,
Your plant made me nervous. I ' googled ' a little bit and came along Scilla obtusifolia Poiret - from Spain, flowers similar to S. autumnalis and with broader leaves.
Please search for ' Scilla obtusifolia Linnean herbarium'.

Dirk,

that is Scilla autumnalis.

I also grow this form from Crete, which is some how more colorful but its main characteristic
is that inflorescence starts by having an umbrella form [like scilla peruviana] to than stretch and taking back the common shape.
