From weed to treasure
« on: April 02, 2019, 08:02:21 PM »
There are some plants from the garden that becomes weeds in the wild but this is plants that are considered weeds until they are refined

Examples I am thinking of is Ranuculus ficari whos yellow flowers may be hunted to erradication while their double orange or cream are sought after
An other example of a weed that becomes coveted is bellis perennis that one is clearing from the lawn and yet buy the double bigger forms.
Do You know or more weeds that made it into the the fine room so to say.
Could be an interesting reading I hope
Potting in Lund in Southern Sweden and Coimbra in the middle of Portugal as well as a hill side in central Hungary
