I like most conifers, but I am especially fond of the Genus Pinus. The new growth in the spring is especially attractive, and every species is different. Here are some examples:

Pinus nigra subsp. nigra

OK, not in the Genus Pinus but commonly known as the Wollemi Pine, here are the male and female cones of Wollemia nobilis; totally hardy here.
