Loughborough AGS Show

I presume this is still on next Saturday (30th Sept) as there has been no mention of it on here. Unusual absence.

Thanks Maggi for doing the necessary.

If anyone sends me entries by email and doesn't get a response from me within an hour or so please call me at the phone number in the shows handbook.

One incident of a blocked email already today.

Judging by these photos  from the show - shown on facebook -  it looks like  there were no shortage of members managing to contact Martin R. with their entries for the show - it looks to have been a lovely display.
Just look at the superb  Farrer Medal winning plant - a Cyclamen maritimum, shown by   Ian Robertson -  no stranger to top awards, that chap!

A close-up of the plant from Lawrence Peet -

Peter Taggart,  recently  moved back to Scotland, was a visitor to the show too..... the next photos are from Peter

It wasn't only a nice show at Loughborough - it was  pleasant outdoors too - here's Rob Potterton's  pic of Ben and Paddy Parmee  having lunch....

September show and still weather good enough for an outdoor picnic - no wonder they're smiling!

Rob Potterton reported that there were plenty early customers for the plant stalls...

Rob spots Lawrence Peet at the stall of  Tim Lever of Aberconwy- "the competition" !!  ;D
