We live in a bizarre society, I find. The society of "All in the trash".
Here is what I have just brought back from a garden shop near my house. In the absence of cardboard boxes available, I could not take more. However, there was 1m³ of bulbs discarded. I used it, other people saw me and we followed.
It is certain that this is not the right time to plant spring bulbs and that gardening is unlikely to sell these bulbs at this time.
However, I do not care too much. I am sure that many of these bulbs will still be able to recover and prosper in the coming years.
Okay, maybe not all the tulipa, but the Iris, Crocus, Chionodoxa and perhaps the Ranunculus if I protect them from freezing, will certainly get there. By counting the labels, there are 582 bulbs.
