How many packets of seed (or genus/species) must be submitted to qualify for donor status?

Hello Cecile, have you really moved to Uruguay?

This page on the main website explains the SRGC Seed Exchange
 http://www.srgc.net/site/index.php/extensions/seed-exchange

There is no set amount of seed required to obtain donor status, but the Seed Team may rank donors  according to the number of seed types  donated and the  quality /suitability/ rarity etc of the seed.

I looked at that flag and thought it was all faded, and thought, this is what I get for never posting.  How do I correct it, and get my 'ol stars & stripes?  By the way, Ian's lecture in Bulbs in Prague was saved on my desktop, was so helpful for the Narcissus seeds I ordered from Dryad (which I saw while reading SRGC)this weekend.

I now had a recipe for soil mix, yeah!:  2 parts sharp sand- check, 2 parts grit - check, 1-2 parts leaf mold- check I even had two kinds, bone meal- run to Home Depot.  Who would have guessed I had to put the seeds, in the middle of the pot.  No wonder I have never been able to sprout any crocus seeds, or any other bulbs for that matter, in that, I put on top of compost mix, and covered with either sand or grit, and planted in January.

So, I am pretty excited about getting seeds this year, and saved seeds.  Thanks for your help. Cecile
