Lilium henrici and L. yapingense
« on: January 20, 2015, 02:01:39 PM »
I bought the seeds of L. henrici and L. yapingense but I canīt find which type of germination they have - hypogeal or epigeal?
Does anyone know the answer?
Thanks

Most lilies from this area are warm immediate germinators. The lilium yapingense will germinate the same as lilium macklinae etc.  last year I found the L henrici was a bit sporadic. It germinated over the summer. Hope this helps. Susan
