I tried the amazon link and there was problems loading page - I think rather too many people have gone there. Fortunately found a copy on ebay for £2.48 incl. P&P.

Thanks Mark but the £2.48 I paid included postage, whereas the 1p books required an extra £2.80 p&p. Either of course is really a bargain!

... a book by Ursula Buchan entitled "Garden People - Valerie Finnis & the Golden Age of Gardening" published by Thames & Hudson in 2007. 
As it says on the cover Valerie Finnis 'knew most of the people who mattered in the gardening world and many of them were invited to the Dower House, where they would usually be photographed..'

Gerry passed away  at home  on 25th February 2021 - his posts are  left  in the  forum in memory of him.
His was a long life - lived well.
