Title: Country living magazine feb 2013
Post by: emma T on January 08, 2013, 06:21:31 PM
For any one who is interested or was there last year, Country Living magazine has published the article about the study day at The Garden House last year.

Mums friend spotted my hat in her magazine and came into the local knitting/spinning group mum goes to waving the magazine around.

Its a very good and VERY FUNNY read . ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well worth getting. Mum has got extra copies for the relatives lol Some great pictures of some of the forumists .

That issue will make it to NZ in a month or a little longer. I must watch out for it. I've seen previous copies in my doc's waiting room. ;D

I saw the article yesterday and thought I recognized a few shady-looking characters well known forumists! Very good picture of the snowdrop hat, too. Hope you get a few orders out of it, Emma.
It is always my new year's resolution to stop buying magazines, but they always have snowdrops in the first issue so I always fail.

Ah, I recall a photographer lurking in the undergrowth. Standing next to Margaret Owen, I definitely felt in the line of fire even if just 'collateral damage'.

I got the magazine and found the article quite amusing.  "Matt reappears to lead his devotees around the garden....." and,  "all shoving and barging, weaving and snatching, then appearing red faced and triumphant, clutching a tiny, white stalk."

A white stalk?  Is that a new variety?  I imagine she means the flower bud in its sheath.

Very funny.....enjoyed it.  It must seem hilarious for outsiders attending a snow drop sale.

I've been told that Matt's website, which was 'under construction' now has a bit more info on it. Doesn't list any plants for sale yet, but is getting there - better add it to your favourites www.mattbishopsnowdrops.co.uk (http://www.mattbishopsnowdrops.co.uk)

Yes thanks for the info about Matt Maxine!

Is it possible to do a scan of the 'Country Living' article or will that infringe copyright?
