I'm in Spain for a month, mainly to escape the cold winter from where we live, but also there to look for plants and minerals.
A lot of the Spanish plants are unknown to me. I hope to get more information here. If possible, I try to gather seeds from the plants I see. I'm now in the region Valencia/Alicante, but hope to go up higher in the mountains later.
The pictures are not always clear. It's hard to make pictures in full sun.
This is nr. 1: It smells like Thyme.
Edited to show better pictures.

nr. 12 Solanum?
Have no picture of the ripe fruit (orange). Noticed the fruits turn from green to orange and than to black.

I googled this one, because I have Fumaria officinalis. Mine in Belgium is completely purple, this one is white with a purple end, but googling it, it is also F. officinalis. So now I'm confused.

This one is growing everywhere, like a weed, but I like it. Hope I can grow it in my zone 6 as an annual.

Probably the worst weed of the world :(
Does there exist a country near the sea without this weed ?? :o

Oxalis pes-caprae? Is it? There are nice multi-petalled forms.

I grow two collections from Corsica and Sicily
I know also a place at the Algarve where they grow

I've never seen the Oxalis pes-caprae in Belgium or the Netherlands. What I read about it, it's not hardy there. I can see here in Spain, that it is very invasive. But the leaves and flowers are nice, so if I can find seeds I'm going to try it as an annual. Since it's not hardy in my zone 6, I don't think it will get invasive in Belgium.
Thank you Hans for the identification of 4 of the plants I found.
