Michael there is just a chance that Barry Starling might have a plant or might know of someone who has. If you don't have any luck with anyone else let me know and I'll get in touch with him (Barry doesn't do computers!)

Michael  - I'll re-check my plants but I think I missed it unless there's a stray pod.

A beautiful little plant, Michael. I've never grown it but have seen it growing in the wild.

Hi Michael

I could send you some cuttings to try or possibly seeds if the plant sets some, but it'll all be only next year then, from May/June on.
Let me know if you would find another source meanwhile.

Michael I've had seed on several occasions from seed exchanges but have never had germination.  Don't know if it was because seed wasn't fresh or if it needs special conditions.

Michael,

If you remind me in May/June I can dig up a plant for you at our mountain cabin. The plants are easiest to find when they are blooming.

Same experience here Shelagh. One time there was nothing - nothing! - in the packet but other times I suspect just a little dust. I know it's very tiny seed but Phyllodace, Shortia and the like have visible seeds, even Cassiope. The conditions for germinating any of those should be similar for Loiseleuria I would think.
