Talking with Anne Wright about watercolors, I remebered my best friend and master who teach me to paint and play music. Unfortunately, he had as stroke at 42 years old an he is in coma since 8 years. I would like to introduce him, my dear friend Quique Almendros a person multitalented and hiper-intelligent. You will see him in the videos playing our traditional music, he played the pies and flute/drum. I hope you like it.

Fantastic virtuoso display, and wonderful music reminiscent of my favourite Irish folk. A great loss.

Rafa, those clips are wonderful. While remembering musicians and songwriters of whom we have fond memories I note that today Michael Marra has also passed away. A great loss to Scottish music.
-
Wonderful musicians, very sad on both counts.

Thank you friends I'm glad you like it. I have to search about Michael Marra, I think I never listen any of his music :-[.
I recognize my favourite music is Celtic music because the instrument I use to play is low whistle and bamboo flute. I use to play with the cds of Matt Molloy, Cormac Breatnach, Michael McGoldrick and my hero Brian Finnegan. Also I use to listen when I paint, English singers like June Tabor and my favourite singer ever Kate Rusby because it is very relaxing music.
