Title: Marcus Harvey- Hill View Seedlist 2012
Post by: Maggi Young on October 03, 2012, 11:17:58 PM: Marcus Harvey's Hill View Seedlist 2012 has arrived. I think you will find photos of quite a lot of the plants mentioned in Marcus' posts.
Most of you will be aware of Marcus' Tasmanian nursery from the happy posts of Southern Hemisphere c forumists growing plants from him - but he sells seeds too 8)

I have had to reduce/split it into 4 to allow posting here, so you do not get the best view of Susan's paintings or the photos, but it should still be understandable ;)

Post by: Lesley Cox on December 19, 2012, 11:17:41 PM: Unfortunately, just when I have some spare money, Marcus has decided not to export bulbs any more, or maybe it's only to NZ, because of the costs and the general hassles with inspections etc. A lovely list, and it means our last source of bulbs as distinct from seed, is now gone. :'(

Post by: Lesley Cox on January 01, 2014, 07:09:26 PM: That's where I tripped up because the posts come through as Hillview Seedlist. Then I noticed the 2012 so new posts are coming on an old heading. I was miffed because Marcus hadn't send me a new seedlist. Stupid woman - as Roger would say and does, quite frequently. I did get the bulb list and the one you kindly sent Maggi but of course it's no use to me now except to get saliva running freely and heart jumping. All those lovely alliums and tulips!
