Super opportunity to visit the collection and buy some good plants and benefit the animal charity at the same time!

Thanks for mentioning the open day Maggi......
Just to let people know that most of the plants we have for sale are not generally available in normal garden centres, so it will be a good chance for people to own something rare.

okie, see you Sat.

We made it today - a wonderful collection in a delightful garden, and lovely knowledgeable people. We had a great time and came away with some fabulous plants at a cracking price, (sorry, we had Wallace and Gromit on the satnav). Here's some of what you missed.
-
Did you get all the yellow ones Anne ? ???
There was / is a 'peachy' seedling which was ( in my opinion ) very special. Please Lauri and Mark, post a picture and let us know when you've propagated enough for general distribution ;D ;D
-
Not all of them…. ::)

;D ;D Restraint is surely a virtue ;D ;D 8) ....... but I'm not sure it's true ;D ;D ;D

It was great meeting all of you and we had a great weekend raising £76.50 for Hedge Hog Care.... :)
Ron, The little peachy seedling is now repotted and will let you know next year if she is big enough to send you a corm or two. Just need to name her... thinking Peach Highlight?? Will get a pic posted in the morning..

Hello Lauri! Well done on your help for the hedgepigs along with your open days- the proverbial win-win situation. ;D

Lets hope they all survive this darn awful winter................... it seems to be going on for months!!!!!
Oh well, time will tell...............
-
With forecasts telling us that the winter weather will continue for several more weeks at least in the UK, Mark, there are a lot of us wondering how perennials will be affected. I'm hoping they will just be slow to start.
Have your plants offered to grow yet or are they just "sitting waiting" ?
-
Mine are all sensibly keeping their heads down.
-
Mine are well through the ground, though whether they'll take a knock with this cold I'm not sure. Looking perky so far.
