Title: Ron McBeath Open Day 1st September

Further to the announcement in The Rock Garden Journal, Ron & Susan McBeath will be holding an Open Garden event this Saturday 1st September at their home in Lamberton. Also in attendance will be Rob Potterton and all the family (you have been warned) with plants and bulbs for sale from 9am to 4pm. Ron will give a lecture at the Village Hall at 2pm. ALL welcome. Refreshments served.

should be a good day -however it is also the day of the East Lothian show so I shall not get down to Berwickshire.

Thanks to all who attended the event at Ron and Susan's today, it was really good to see you all again. David Boyd's entrance to the garden was truly spectacular and Ron gave an entertaining lecture in the afternoon. The Potterton family really enjoyed their visit to Scotland. Anyone wanting to hear Ron's lecture at Nettleton in 2 weeks (15 September) tickets are still available - details to follow shortly.
