This Tiny Treasure has popped up in an 'abandoned pot' not sure if anyone can help with ID

Looks like Scoliopus bigelowii.

Trond has hit that nail on the head.  It is Scoliopus bigelowii, a delightful little Western American woodlander.  It should put up a succession of those well-marked flowers and as the foliage develops and ages, the leaves will lose their spots.  Great plant, I love it!

Thanks for the info and positive ID. My Scoliopus bigelowii seems to have been hiding for two years, it was indeed given to me two years ago, and I really thought I had lost it and had forgotten about it completely, we do not see many of these where i am.....
