Title: From the garden and alpine house of a forumist

Forumist  Alan Jones has sent me photos from the garden and alpine house of himself and his wife Ann, which it is my pleasure to share with you here

Photos just have  numbers but I will endeavour to add names where I can

this batch has Cyclamen, crocus, helleborus, galanthus,  saxifragas in a trough and an erythronium

Sanguinaria, lots of erythronium, more galanthus, helleborus a couple of shots in a nearby wood,
anemones daphne and narcissus

garden view, trillium, colourful beds with phlox (?) a superb Verbascum dumulosum (Letitia?)
some Alliums and a saxifraga

Saxifraga, Campanula, Arisaema, Rhododendron ( cinnabarinum type)
 Azalea, border with trillium, hellebores  and primula

and... more rhodos in the sunshine- the best way to see them!
Aquilegias, Iris, Saxifragas... garden views.....  is that tall yellow bulb  Bulbinella hookeri?

The photos were resized for me by Alan, Cliff - that's half the battle.  :)
...and I love seeing other peoples' gardens!

Alan is a loyal member- and one of these days we'll get him posting the pictures himself!

Thanks for posting Alans pictures Maggie.Incredible that dark blue iris is incredible and beautifully grown.

It's an extraordinary collection of plants ...for me it's unbelievable ....but true  !

What a job ...who many years to create this paradise ?

A real passion of course Why i haven't a member like that around me  ???

Most i studies plants species , most i discovered the infinite diversity of the vegetable world.

One life is not enough to discover all  of this.

I'm sure you're right, fermi- I have trouble with yellows that are not daffodils! ;D
