Here's "Polly's Pearl" flowering outside the north facing front window, where it gets full sun. The French marigolds are self-sown seedlings from last summer's bedding.

Lovely clump, Anthony. I can just imagine the fragrance. I was lucky enough to get a couple of bulbs from Bill D. and they have just finished flowering.
I love that the fragrance is as good as on N. papyraceus but perhaps a little less heavy. I know that some folks find those scents rather overpowering but Polly's Pearl would be a better choice for them.
Not too tall and well able to stand up on its own too, which is more than you can say for a lot of those types.
I really like this plant. 8)

My sense of smell barely registers any fragrance. ??? I suppose I've inherited my Dad's sense of smell? :-\

This is the first flower on one of Keira Bulbs' cyclamenius hybrids

Hi
Nice to see our seedlings doing well for you Fermi.
A few more photos. I have had a bad editing day. Either too small or too large so you will have to wait until I re-edit to see more.
The 6W-P is a real triumph. It is a miniature that opens pink and holds it pink.
It has continued to be very cold in Canberra. We have had a lot of days with a minimum of less than -4 C this year. We usually get a few but this year it is a lot. However, the daffodils are flowering well despite the cold.
Cockatoos and currawongs are attacking our daffodils again!!

Graham in cold windy and wet Canberra

I love the third one, Graham, especially.

Here's another of Keira Bulb's 6YY hybrids - a real gem!
And an old favourite, GBF's 'Mitimoto',
and finally a clump of 'Jumblie'

Hi
Some nice seedlings out at the moment. Main problem is taking good photos of micro minis.

Hi
Part 3. A few split cups for the Dunedin lover of split cups!!
There is a nice hybrid in the N. cordubensis pot.

Thank you Graham for continuing to supply me with something to make rude faces at. ;D
Interestingly, there seem to be a few about of those seedlings with 8 sepals, as in yours above. There was one posted here somewhere a week or two ago I think and I had one appear in a pot myself a couple of years ago but since, it has had just the 6 sepals, so maybe an abberation caused by conditions.

Yes, there do seem to be quite a few examples around with extra petals - personally I do not find these nearly so displeasing as those with filled cups :-X
This was a cute example from Doug in NZ :http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=9417.msg254060#msg254060
Se some Daffnet comments :http://daffnet.org/?p=87698#comment-14343
As has been mentioned in Daffnet, it is rather odd that extra petals are not accepted in exhibition daffs while the crammed cups of the doubles are acceptable.
On the subject of Daffnet, our friends there tell us that they are implementing some changes to their web presence to open up things to a wider audience- good news and the SRGC WebTeam wish them all the best! 8)

Nancy Tackett and Ben Blake of Daffnet tell us : (we have worked to) ........" transition Daffnet from an email forum to a web forum. Daffnet.org is live today and you can see it at http://daffnet.org/. (http://daffnet.org/.) We loaded this forum with Daffnet archives dating back to 2003."

More mini-daffs in the rock garden:
The first is one of the 2 types I received as N. hispanicus;
the next is 'Stymie' from GBF
the one after is a GBF "breeder" Staten Island X Swagger
the last is from GBF as "W P Milner X Gipsy Queen" - which reminds me of N. asturiensis,

Wow! Fermi, that hispanica is so frilly!

Wow! Fermi, that hispanica is so frilly!
Which is one reason that I'm suspicious that it's misnamed! I received 2 different plants under that name from the supplier. This is a pic I took of the two of them together last year - this year the taller one has already faded while the shorter more frilly one is still looking good.
Any ideas on the true identity or just "species variation"?
cheers

Could be just species variation - here's one we saw in Spain:
